Tornadoes
I love how the weather changes. We’ve had hot and dry conditions until last week when we snapped into the 40’s. Now we have a cold front moving through with severe wind sheer. There is a great chance for tornadoes. One storm cell has already past us and according to radar went right over our apartment complex. Our lights never flickered and we barely had any wind or rain. However just a half a mile or so south of us I’ve heard reports of downed power lines and trees. it looks like we have at least three more storm cells that will be passing through the area before midnight or so.
However, I’ve been informed that UPS stops for no storm. I will still have to be into work at midnight. I love that I can feel safe going to work, because I know that God is in control. No tornado touches the ground, no tree limb breaks that is not at his divine authority. When we hear of devastation like recently hit Pensacola, we can wonder where is God? We can wonder why he would allow such terrible things to happen. But I know whom I’ve believed and I’m persuaded that he is able to keep me. And when tragedy falls I hear the words of Jesus when he was asked about the eight who died in a tragedy in his day. He said, “Repent, or you too shall likewise perish.” That may sound harsh, but we are sinful and deserving of God’s holy wrath. And every moment we are not stuck down by a deadly Tornado is all part of the beauty of his mercy.

It said you were still online so in case that wasn’t you I thought I’d leave the comment here so they didnt’ just delete it if it is a hacker. Hope you and Teresa and the kids are doing well!
