Rowling Writes Potter Prequel
The AP announces that J.K. Rowling has written a prequel to her seven volume Potter series. Albeit a short one. 800 words. It was part of a charity auction in which 13 different authors and artist were given a postcard sized piece of cardboard. Rowling covered both sides of hers with the prequel and the signoff “From the prequel I am not working on — but that was fun!” Though I haven’t seen the content, I think it could be movie material. Many have certainly been made with less inspiration than 800 words.
