SNL Season Finale
Steve Carell hosted the season finale of Saturday Night Live and I have to admit, he is one of the funniest people ever. I was gasping for air watching his opening monologue and the whole show was good, the “There Can Be Only One” ad putting Clinton and Obama side by side was great. But I was surprised that this generally liberal show took a decidedly Republican twist. Having John McCain both on Weekend Report and in a sketch laying out his platform (highlighting his best quality as his “oldness”) was a great move. I thought he was funny and I haven’t seen that kind of self-deprecation in a while.
Tomorrow is our primary here in Kentucky, and I would urge all my readers to get out and vote (Clinton supporters, remember, your primary will be held next week). Like I always say, if you don’t vote now, you can’t complain later.
