Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
4/10
Jason Segal was funny, I could have lived my life without seeing his junk though. Russell Brand took the show though, he was hilarious, great timing. But overall the movie was a disappointment. I'd been expecting Knocked Up 2 but it just didn't live up to the hype for me.

With DeNiro and Pacino I expected much better. But it was dry and predictable the whole way through. Better than 88 minutes, but not by a lot.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of...
5/10
The movie was okay. But Indiana Jones and aliens (sorry, interdimensional beings) just don't mix. They should have left well enough alone. Most of the movie was goofy and campy, especially the monkeys and groundhogs.

The Strangers (2008)
6/10
I hate horror movies, but this one surprised all of the critics and did great at the box office, so I had to see it. And despite the lame acting and predictable plot, it was creepy! I had to watch another movie after it to get to bed.

Fool's Gold (2008)
7/10
Better than I thought it would be. I'm not a big Matthew McConaughey fan. But the story was interesting and the action was good. It was funny and sweet and stupid. No Oscar winner but a cute date night movie.

Leatherheads (2007)
7/10
I really like George Clooney. This one is packed with quick witted dialogue. And some smart twists. Not overly exciting, but a good lighthearted movie.

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed...
7/10
It was thought provoking, but not overly heavy. Scientific but not technical. Ben Stein brought his personality through and it's not a Christian movie. But it does present some arguments that must be addressed. Read My Review Here.

Casino Royale (2006)
7/10
I'm not a huge fan of the Bond movies. I like the Sean Connery era, But Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were too clean cut and high brow for me. Daniel Craig plays a more sadistic and heartless Bond. And the Poker game is fantastic, riveting.

Live Free or Die Hard (2007)
7/10
McClane is back! I liked Justin Long as the sidekick. Not the best of the series, but at least it's better than #2.

This was a charming little drama. It's humorous and fun. Dustin Hoffman was loveable as Mr. Magorium and Natalie Portman and Jason Bateman had great chemistry. It was a good family friendly film. The kids will love it because the store looks like so much fun.

City of Ember (2008)
9/10
I had high expectations of this move going in, and it lived up to them. The acting was fabulous, especially by the supporting roles, Martin Landau, Tim Robbins, and Bill Murray. Read my full review here.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)
9/10
It wasn't quite as stellar as Iron Man. But it was close! Ed Norton was great. Liv Tyler was a little stiff but still good. The action and CGI was amazing. I can't wait to see Captain America and Thor and The Avengers!!!!

The Dark Knight (2008)
10/10
Acting was superb. Expect posthumous Oscar for Heath Ledger. Great action and twists. Can't wait for Christopher Nolan's next.

Iron Man (2008)
10/10
I love Iron Man. It's intelligent, exciting, and funny. Plus fanboys (like me) love it for all the Marvel world references.
